Carolyn's first date in America... her high school's Jr./Sr. Prom. Wouldn't you agree that she looks like a lovely princess? Her date is our neighbor and he's in her college chemistry class. Patrick's mom and I had fun taking photos of the occasion. Carolyn was taken to the nice Mona Lisa restaurant for dinner and arrived in plenty of time for the Prom. She saw some friends there and teachers. But found the music too loud (and no fun either). Besides that she was embarrassed at the inappropriate way the other students were dancing. "It was a cultural experience," Carolyn quipped. "I won't be going next year... that's for sure."

nice blog. Now you've had the experience... watching your kid go to the prom. :) Thank you for the chocolate today.***
Thanks for the pictures! I'm glad she had an alright time. I'll call and talk to her about it later (probably on "the drive North")
Oh, Carolyn - you are such a beautiful young maiden - draped in a delicious shade of pink. Your friend looks like a very nice young man, who must have been most proud of his good choice to be able to escort you.
