Last week brought us an abundance of snow (for here). Copper LOVES it which is pretty funny since he's from Thailand. Our kids enjoyed making snowmen and ice forts, sometimes combining sidewalk snow removal for neighbors and carting the snow back to our yard! The icy stuff is mostly off the roads now and snow is slowly melting away with upper 30s weather during the day. Michael and Carolyn enjoyed a weekend winter retreat this past weekend with our church youth group in the mountains. I love this series of Copper catching a giant snow ball... especially this last one.

Brrrrr. We definately have milder winter weather than you do! We'd love to convince you to move here. Michael's paper on your life, Dad, came to 17 pages with photos and I think he got a pretty good grade on it. Thanks for participating even though it was sort of last minute. I know that there would be a lot more to write about if he'd had more time to gather the stories and facts of your life.Carolyn and Michael both have final exams this week; one or two per day plus deadlines for semester projects. So far so good.
